Mark holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture from ETH Zürich. During his Bachelor degree he developed a strong interest in structural design, graphic statics and computation, with the goal of deepening his knowledge with a Building Technology Master degree.
Mark was teaching assistant for the Chair of Structural Design of Prof. Dr. Joseph Schwartz from 2021 to 2023, where he tutored second year students in Structural Design III and supervised them during their design project in Structural Design IV. He worked for the Chair of Digital Building Technology of Prof. Dr. Benjamin Dillenburger from 2022 to 2023, where he tutored first year students in Computational Design I/II. During his Bachelor degree he also worked at Christ Gantenbein in Basel from 2021 to 2022, where he contributed to various projects, research and publication.
He joined the Block Research Group as a Scientific Assistant in June 2023.
