Anna Maragkoudaki

Anna is an architect and photographer with a strong focus in the digital domain. Her interests span from theory to practice with specific interests in fabrication techniques, computation, Smart materials and their combination to inform structure.

She is finishing her MAS in Architecture and Information at the CAAD department in ETH Zurich where she investigates domain transformations in narrative, time-frequency representations and how change and temporality can formalize architectonics. She holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University in Athens as well as a degree in Photography and Audiovisual arts from the Technological Educational Institute in Athens. She has received numerous awards and scholarships for her academic performance both in architecture and photography.

Anna has worked as a photographer, graphic designer, video editor and CAD tutor. She has participated in various photographic and architectural exhibitions in Greece and abroad  and in conferences as well as in workshops mainly involving fabrication of conventional and smart materials.

Currently she is employed as an intern at the Block Research Group and an assistant at the RapLab at ETHZ while completing her MAS thesis.
