Alex is an architect with a strong interest in structural design. Originally from Basel, she started her studies at ETH Zurich in 2012 and received her degree in Architecture at the end of 2019.
During her studies, Alex gained practical experience by working for two Zurich based offices: Zach + Zünd Architekten and JOM Architekten. During her exchange semester in Denmark she gained valuable experience in sustainable architecture.
Alex has been part of the BRG teaching team since 2015, and for three years, she supervised the bachelor students in Structural Design I & II. Currently she has key responsibilities in the semester buildup and leads the tutoring of students.
In February 2020, Alex entered a new role for the Block Research Group as a teaching coordinator.
