Hongyang Wang received her B.Arch from the University of Miami in May 2016, where her studio topics ranged from digital fabrication and smart cities to kinetic devices and interactive architecture. She received the Student of the Year award from the American Institute of Architecture Miami in 2013. In addition, she has worked for various companies including Cesar Pelli’s studio – PCPA in Shanghai and New Haven, Robert Stern’s studio – RAMSA in NYC, Cure and Penabad in Miami, and for RAD, an innovative architecture company. An interactive table - a project she participated in at RAD - was exhibited at Art Basel Miami in 2015. Her research interests lie in computational architecture design, interactive structure design, digital fabrication and sustainable architecture.
Hongyang joined the BRG as an architectural intern in May 2017.
