Prof. Block is the recipient of the 2018 Berlin Art Prize (Kunstpreis Berlin) in the section Architecture (Baukunst). Ian Ritchie, Norman Foster and Patrik Schumacher were the invited jury by the Akademie der Künste. The award ceremony will be on March 18.
Invited by Prof. Dirk Hebel, Prof. Block will on Jan 17 give a department lecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.
The photographic documentary by Naida Iljazovic of the NEST HiLo roof prototype construction has been selected for photo18 Zürich. Go check out the exhibtiion from Jan 12-16 at Halle 622 in Zürich-Oerlikon.
